About Pamela Offner...
Pam is a North Carolina Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She received a Bachelor Degree in Social Work from North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina and a Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. For more than 10 years Pam has been providing individual, family and group therapy. In addition to maintaining a private practice of seven years, Pam provides therapy to adolescents and their families in a local state psychiatric hospital.
Prior to opening her private practice, she provided case management, group and family therapy in a private psychiatric hospital, facilitated group therapy for SAFEchild, Inc. in Raleigh and conducted individual therapy at Wake Teen, also located in Raleigh. During that same time period she worked with women in prison and transitioning out of prison along with their families. Pam has created and conducted workshops regarding mental health issues and implemented self awareness retreats for women. She maintains professional affiliation with the National Association of Social Workers and the American Association of Christian Counselors.
Pam continues to invest in the lives of others through clinical counseling, public speaking, leadership training, educational instruction and small groups to equip and empower others, and assist them in finding meaning and purpose in all dimensions of life. Pam’s outgoing personality is complemented by the warm and calming atmosphere of her office. She is committed to providing a supportive, encouraging and safe environment for all clients. Her non-judgmental approach enables her to meet her clients where they are in their journey. Pam is dedicated to helping the hurting heal.
